Foundations in GIS

This course is a foundation course in the history, theory, and application of GIScience. Focuses on the concepts and procedures used in discovering and applying the spatial relationships within and among spatial phenomena. Enterprise and Open-Source Geographic Information System (GIS) software packages will be used to perform a variety of spatial analyses, including vector and raster analyses.
